First Graders at MGS celebrated their 150th day of school yesterday! Students were invited to dress like they were 150 years old. We also set up an ice cream store and students had $1.50 to spend on toppings. We used math skills to make sure we stayed within our amount!

On a cold windy day in Smith Center the JH track team competed really well. The 8th grade boys placed 2nd overall and the 7th grade girls were meet CHAMPIONS!
Home opener for HS Baseball tonight! Games start at 4:30pm hosting the Clay Center Tigers. Come out and enjoy some baseball! The Junior Class will sponsor the BSB/SB concessions this spring. Tonight they have pulled pork meals along with all of the normal concessions items!

The first three sessions of Cosmosphere have begun!! We have learned about how space affects the body, how to safely land on the moon in our lunar lander, air pressure, and building a parachute.
Mrs. Sanders' class had our "Oaks" join us today! The students had fun reading and playing a math game called "Pig!"
