A special thank you goes out to the community members who traveled to Wells, Kansas, for the first of four community listening sessions. The valuable input they provided will be utilized by the North Ottawa County Schools USD 239 Board of Education as it works to develop a strategic plan for the future of our district. The next session will be in Delphos, Kansas on Thursday night from 6-7 p.m. at The Auditorium.

Tuesday, October 22, USD 239 North Ottawa County Public Schools will host its first of four Community Listening Sessions in Wells, at the Wells Community Center. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. and last until 7:00 p.m. The community feedback from these sessions will assist the USD 239 Board of Education in developing the district's strategic plan for the next five years. The MJH XC team concluded their season with a great league meet at Rock City today. Medalists were: J. Heckart 5th, E. Donovan 3rd, and M. Swisher 2nd. All of the Lions ran hard today! Sorry for no picture! #LionPride

Due to maintenance work, the high school track will be closed for the remainder of Wednesday and Thursday. A crew from United Sports will repaint the track's lines, and it will reopen on Friday.
