Happy Summer from Mrs. Shaft's Kindergarten Class! They had a great year learning together! When they grow up, they want to be the following: a Soccer Star, a Combination Cheerleader and Veterinarian, a Police Officer, Teachers, Gamers, Paleontologists, a Babysitter, and a Puzzle Master! CONGRATS to the 8th grade girls on WINNING the NCAA JH track meet!!!!
Becky (Trout) Anderson set the JH record for high jump in 1993 with a jump of 4' 10 1/2. McKenna Worlock broke the record in 2024 with a jump of 4'11. Becky has a daughter on the JH track team this year and is one of the biggest supporters of all Lion Athletics!
Congrats to McKenna Worlock on her new school record in high jump getting over 4'11 at the NCAA JH meet!!
Kindergarten Friends in Mrs. Shaft's Class are Animal Experts! Day 1 of PBL Science Presentations were held today! Artwork created by the students will be turned into greeting cards and are for sale! Proceeds will go toward the Adopt an Animal Program at Rolling Hills Zoo. Contact Mrs. Shaft for more information. Maren taught everyone about the Chilean Flamingo and even dressed the part!
