Congratulations to our Craftology Students for being selected by the Kansas Association of School Boards to exhibit our program to school board members and superintendents across the State of Kansas. Our students and staff traveled to Wichita on November 15 to highlight this exemplary and unique program! The Minneapolis Community Listening Session will be held this evening (Thursday) at MJSHS in the cafeteria, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Community patrons are invited to provide input on four prompts: 1) What does USD 239 do well? 2) What does USD 239 need to improve? 3) What makes a USD 239 high school graduate successful? 4) What is the best way for USD 239 to communicate with you? Information from our community listening sessions (Wells, Delphos, Ada, and Minneapolis) will help the USD 239 Board of Education develop a strategic plan for the next five years.
Miss Grace is the first student from Mrs. Marsh's 4th grade to pass all of her timed multiplication tests! She has accomplished this faster than any other student from Mrs. Marsh's class in the last 8 years. Now she gets ice cream! Congratulations Grace!
Minneapolis first grader’s enjoyed root beer floats from the MHS cheerleaders. The first graders won the poster contest at the homecoming pep rally!
There will be a Salina Area Tech parent meeting on Tuesday, November 12 at 6pm. This is an informational meeting for those students who have an interest in attending SATC as a part time student during their junior and senior year. Available programs will be discussed as well as what needs to be done to in order to make attending possible.
More MGS 1st graders during Acorns to Oaks!
MGS 1st graders had their first Acorns to Oaks for this year. What a great turnout! We meet Thursday's from 2:15-2:45 and would love for you to join us if you enjoy working with children. We plan all the activities, so just cme and spend time with some awesome kids!

Kindergarten Friends enjoyed Fall Fest! They learned about service dogs from our friends at CARES, created squirrel and hedgehog art, fed animals from Perret Ranch, and enjoyed a tasty treat. Thank you to Cub Backers and all volunteers for making this day possible!
