Mrs. Rash's 3rd grade students worked really hard today to produce their bridges to hold the Three Billy Goats Gruff. These students did a fantastic job building!




Mrs. Plummer's 3rd grade completed their plans today by building their bridges. This class had very different plans and they all turned out really neat!




Mrs. Noon's kindergarten class finally had their chance at the Doodle Bots! I was amazed at how quickly these little ones can take an electric toothbrush, a pool noodle, markers, and rubber bands and create their robots. It was amazing!




Mrs. Pratt's class made adjustments on their race cars to see what would make them go faster. They tried ramps, balloons, straws, and magnets. There was a lot of learning going on today!




Mrs. Shaft's Kindergarten built robots today! They were challenged with a few materials that they had to assemble to create a Doodle Robot. Many smart students in this class discovered what it takes to build a robot!




Mrs. Worlock's 2nd grade class completed their Cat in the Hat designs that they planned last week. It takes a lot of teamwork to be able to get these designs completed and they did an amazing job working together!



Mrs. Marsh's 4th grade finished up their parachutes today. We launch Jack tomorrow. It is going to be exciting to see which group designed their parachute so that Jack will survive going down the beanstalk quickly!




Mrs. Logan's 5th grade class finished up their 4 week project on programming robots. They set up challenges for their peers to program. Some of their programming ideas included an obstacle course, driving the perimeter of the library, and even driving over books!




Miss James' class completed their plans on building their parachute. These students had many fantastic ideas on how to keep Jack safe when coming down the beanstalk in a parachute!




Mr. Noon's 5th grade challenged each other with the robots. There were many creative challenges presented to the class and all groups did a fantastic job working as a team.




Mrs. Brubaker's class took on the task of building their parachutes today for Jack to make it down the Beanstalk safely. I can not wait to see if Jack makes it down safely.




Mrs. Pieschl's class built bridges to hold the billy goats. They had amazing creations and worked really well together in their teams!




Mrs. Hauck's class also worked on the Cat in the Hat challenge building towers, hats, or houses out of plastic cups and index cards. They worked hard through the challenge and no matter how many times they had to rebuild each team had a finished product!




Mrs. Freeman's class worked really hard today to figure out how to assemble their Doodle Bots. They had to do a lot of problem solving, but they were so smart and never gave up!




Mrs. Nichols' class worked with their race cars today. They found that the ramp would get their car (The Tortoise to beat the Hare) to go the fastest!



Mrs. Abell's class was the first group to take on the building of the Doodle Bots! They did a fantastic job!
Mrs. Mortimer's class finished their MakerSpace activity this week with building their Cat in the Hat Tower, Hat, or Castle! There was amazing team work happening today!

Mr. Schmidt shares the process of our chicken coop with the school board. Ag Students will be taking care of 50 chickens next fall.
