Kindergarten Friends enjoyed Fall Fest! They learned about service dogs from our friends at CARES, created squirrel and hedgehog art, fed animals from Perret Ranch, and enjoyed a tasty treat. Thank you to Cub Backers and all volunteers for making this day possible!

Mrs. Marsh's 4th grade celebrating passing an Iready Math lesson with an 80% or higher 100 times! Thanks to the class of 2028 they had donuts to go with their movie.


Minneapolis sophomores visited the College and Career Planning Event at Salina Central this past Monday.




JAG-K hosted their annual INI Event last evening, as Mr. Macy swears in the 2024-25 officers.


A special thank you goes out to the community members who traveled to Wells, Kansas, for the first of four community listening sessions. The valuable input they provided will be utilized by the North Ottawa County Schools USD 239 Board of Education as it works to develop a strategic plan for the future of our district. The next session will be in Delphos, Kansas on Thursday night from 6-7 p.m. at The Auditorium.


Tuesday, October 22, USD 239 North Ottawa County Public Schools will host its first of four Community Listening Sessions in Wells, at the Wells Community Center. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. and last until 7:00 p.m. The community feedback from these sessions will assist the USD 239 Board of Education in developing the district's strategic plan for the next five years. Both MHS XC teams ran great at league. The boys finished 3rd and the girls finished second. Despite the wind, everyone competed hard. #LionPride

Braxton and Braedee gave Senator Moran a great tour of MJHSH and showcased a lot of what we have to offer for our students.
