EMS will conduct a simulation for MJSHS students around 2pm on Friday. EMS responders are treating this as live practice. Sirens will be heard. "Victims" will be extracted from the scene of the accident. All local EMS units are involved in this enactment.

A very special thank you to Pastor Julius Mutembei for coming to talk to the 4th grade classes about Africa. Mrs. Marsh's class is very luck to have Olive in our class!
4th grade went to the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson on 5/5. They worked on teamwork, toured the museum, went to Dr. Goddard's Lab & the Planetarium. They also said a final goodbye to Miss Lily.
Second grade classes learned about life cycles and hatched some new friends!
Kaylee Anderson broke the Minneapolis school record in the 3200 with a time of 12:50. Kaylee broke the previous record time held by herself by 17 seconds.

To celebrate finishing the book "Restart", the 4th grades went to the nursing home. Some from Mrs. Mullen's class shared from their "Who Was?" projects, they played games, & worked on an art project with the residents. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their time together!
League Art Show - MHS received 14 medals, 16 Certificates , & The Overall 3D Best of Show. Great Job Art Department.
